Decorating without Causing Holes
In homes we
own and homes we rent we want to personalize our space without the damage. (Either to our walls and/or our
deposit.) It’s time to get
creative. My go-to favorite will always
be the versatile 3M strips, that come in so many different sizes and
purposes. However, it’s always good to
learn new tricks.
Hang up some large
magnetic/corkboards and centralize your photographs as a collage. Little magnets or push pins help hold
pictures in place while giving them mobility.
Add them to a white background for faux Polaroids, or have pictures
printed straight from Instagram for a casual and modern approach. Add an element of organization, such as
arranging pictures by person, color, or time.
This growing trend offers a big room
influence and décor with minimal mess.
There are so many options, that vinyl wall stickers can complement
almost any style. If you’re looking for
something more geometric or just a pattern, try making your own designs with
washi tape. They can even make creative
faux frames around pictures hung with Elmer’s Tack N’Stik.
Fabric, temporarily adhered to the
wall, with spray starch offer great results.
It adds some color, pattern, and/or texture to any room.
